The Graduation Preparatory Academy provides students an opportunity to recover credits and/ or accelerate through their course work. In this non-traditional school setting, students through the use of an on-line curriculum, work independently in a supportive and structured learning environment to meet individual academic needs.

Registration Process
As part of the Austin ISD School of Choice, our program accepts students from all over Austin. To apply students must:
- Complete the GPA application
- Complete enrollment packet
- Attend orientation
Admission/Enrollment
Students applying for admission to GPA must complete the application for admission. If space is available, then an eligible applicant (a student with qualifying residency, attendance, and disciplinary history) will be offered admission. Student and Parent/Guardian will then be notified of status of application and required to attend an orientation before registration.Waiting List
If space is not available, then an eligible applicant will be added to the waiting list in the order which the application was received. If a vacancy arises, the next eligible applicant will be offered admission.
Who We Are
Graduation Preparatory Academy (GPA) offers more than a traditional school setting. GPA offers individualized academic program to help students obtain their high school diplomas and become career and college ready.
Credit Recovery & Acceleration
The Graduation Preparatory Academy is designed to help students with credit recovery and/or credit acceleration. GPA provides a non-traditional setting with online curriculum.
GPA provides an opportunity for students to work independently and advance at their own pace.
Faculty and staff provide a supportive and structured learning environment to meet individual student's academic needs.
The Graduation Preparatory Academy provides a flex-schedule option aimed to support the needs of our working student population.
