ACC Food Access Calendar
This calendar lists community sites offering groceries and food throughout Central Texas daily. It can be added to your Google calendar. The calendar is updated regularly, but individual organizations may change their schedules. Please get in touch with the organization if you have any questions or concerns. For further assistance, please get in touch with our campus.

Events are open to all ACC students, staff, faculty, and the general public. All are welcome!
Financial Assistance
- SNAP: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program / español
- Visit ACC’s SNAP Benefits website to learn more about SNAP for students and families.
- ACC Student Advocacy Center staff can help eligible ACC students enroll in these federal assistance programs. For help with eligibility and enrollment, contact sac-group@austincc.edu.

- You likely qualify for this benefit if you are pregnant or the mother of young children. Apply here (español) or email WICHelp@austintexas.gov.
- WIC Grocery Resources: For the WIC Shopper Program, email WICDelivery@austintexas.gov or visit Lone Star Family Market (español).
- FFarmer’sMarket Nutrition Program
- Those eligible for WIC get $30 to use at Texas ffarmer’smarkets.
- Double Up Food Bucks / español
- Doubles the amount of Lone Star (SNAP), WIC, and FMNP benefits individuals and families can spend on fruits and vegetables at farmers’ markets, select grocery stores, and mobile markets in Austin.

Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) offers multiple programs and locations to the Central Texas community. It provides fresh local produce, canned goods, home-delivery meals, and more!
- Food Pantry Finder: This website tool can use your zip code to locate your nearest food pantry. This includes but is not limited to Food Vouchers, Mobile Units, Home Delivery, and Senior Programs.
- Free Grocery Pickup: This webpage provides a printable schedule of Central Texas Food Banks that includes the dates, locations, and a volunteer form if you would like to give back to the community or earn community service hours for your resume
- Home Delivery Program: This program requires enrollment. To find out if you are eligible and how to enroll, visit your county’s neighborhood center. Click here to fill out the interest form, and a team member will contact you.
- Once enrolled, participants will be signed up for a recurring monthly food box delivery. Each month, Amazon will deliver the box directly to their doorstep via contactless delivery. Participants can choose to un-enroll in the program at any time.
- Participants will receive one shelf-stable food box per household each month. While the menu may vary, each box weighs approximately 30 pounds and contains shelf-stable groceries such as oatmeal, pasta, dried beans, canned protein, and canned fruits and vegetables.
- Mobile Food Pantry: This website hosts a list of locations the mobile unit visits, including the time and frequency. Be sure to note any side comments, as they can include details about event changes or cancellations.
- Nutrition Education: The Central Texas Food Bank offers free, bilingual health and wellness classes to organizations that serve low-income or food-insecure populations.

- Foundation Communities - Mobile pop-up food pantries.
- Neighborhood Centers (City of Austin) - Food assistance to help low and moderate-income families in need with free services.
- Travis County Community Centers—There are six Centers: Central Austin, Del Valle, Manor, Jonestown, Oak Hill, and Pflugerville.
- El Buen Samaritano is located in South Austin. It has reliable regular hours throughout the week and is available for residents of all zip codes.
- Farmshare Fresh For Less
- Mobile Markets - Low-cost weekly fresh produce & groceries in Travis County. Accepts SNAP benefits.
- Home Delivery - Low-cost weekly fresh produce & groceries in Travis County offering curbside delivery to select areas. Accepts SNAP benefits.
- Hays County Food Bank - Regular weekly grocery distributions in Hays County.
- Round Rock Area Serving Center - Food staples, fresh produce (from 30+ gardens), and more (Williamson County and beyond).
- The Caring Place - Individuals and families in the service area can visit the food pantry.
- Hill Country Community Ministries—Food pantries and a Fresh Food For All produce program (Williamson County and beyond).
